I am so excited about tomorrow - 08.08.08. No, I am not into that whole Chinese luck thing. I am excited about the Summer Olympics. I LOVE the Olympics - especially the opening ceremonies. I just can't wait. For those of you who don't know, I just looked it up and it starts at 7:30pm on NBC.
I am also excited because this is J. Hogan's first Olympics. Yes, I know he is only 5 months old, but you never know what kind of influence or inspiration he may find tomorrow night. He might just be the next Michael Phelps. He was doing some amazing kicks in the bath tub tonight and finds it totally funny when he splashes water in his eyes. I have no expectations though. I just want him to be happy, healthy and kind.

Great Works
No, this title in no way says that I am discovering cures for diseases or finding some alternative source for fuel. It simply means I am trying my best to follow God's plan for my life.
I base this title on Nehemiah 6:3, "... I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down."God gives each of us a purpose and plan for our lives. We should stay focused on this path and not waiver or compromise. I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. In all these relationships, I try to do whatever "Great Works" God calls me to do - big and small.
